This roller coaster market has been happening for a year now, and we’re still seeing multiple-offer situations going way over asking price. That’s great for sellers, but buyers are very frustrated. The good news is that the roller coaster seems to be flattening. Homes are starting to take more than a few hours to get offers, and multiple-offer situations are now averaging closer to three buyers instead of 15.
If you’re a seller, the market is still great for you. Both house values and buyer demand remain high. If you’re a buyer, this market is looking better every day because there’s less competition.
